John Hegley the renowned poet, musician and humourist has agreed to lead a poetry workshop at Burston on September 4th. John, as regular attendees to the Rally will know as been a popular performer on the stage on more than one occasion.

John will undertake a 70 minute workshop ‘Walking in Words’ for anyone who can spell wheelbarrow. John has agreed to do this as his contribution to a cultural renewal encouraging a new layer of artists and poet (none to take to the stage)

The idea for the workshop was suggested to John as a way in which he could contribute to the insurgent political movement spearheaded by Momentum and the growing support for a new kind of politics of Jeremy Corbyn’s campaign to be re- elected leader of the labour party.

The workshop will take place by the Eastern Region Momentum (ERM) stall on the Green near the Burston School. Please come to the ERM stall and register for the event on the day.
